What can my gift achieve?
What kind of gift could I give to Chaim V'Shalvah in my will?

If you already have a will you can easily add a gift to Chaim V’Shalvah by making a codicil, without rewriting your whole will. Just tell your lawyer what you want to do, and they will be able do the rest.

How does Inheritance Tax apply here?
Currently, if you leave a gift to Chaim V’Shalvah in your will, the value of your gift will be deducted from your estate before Inheritance Tax is applied. If you leave more than 10% of your estate to Chaim V’Shalvah the rate of tax on the rest of your estate is reduced from 40% to 36%.
